In this role, the candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities in APAC and MEA and driving the development of Lumine Group’s strategy in the selected location.
Responsibilities
- Drive a sales centric culture of accountability, transparency, and efficiency.
- Provide strategy, mentoring, coaching & direction for the sales team.
- Build a pipeline of acquisition opportunities through engaging with acquisition targets\' shareholders, executives, and financial advisors.
- Provide analysis of pipeline with recommendations to leadership on how to accelerate velocity of deals.
- Nurture business relationships over time and following up in a systematic manner to enhance our participation in M&A processes.
- Effectively performing the initial qualification of our target prospects.
- Build pipeline reporting and automation across verticals, deal stages, size, etc. for our selected initiatives.
- Provide support to M&A Marketing teams as needed.
- Travel to industry tradeshows and meet our prospects as required.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the market and competitors in order to help predict industry trends, and to develop competitive pricing, and long-term strategic planning.
- Ensure team has appropriate resources to achieve and exceed targets.
- Travel (approximately 10%).
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience and proven success within a business development role in the software industry and deal identification.
- Experience in leveraging digital marketing campaigns to generate leads and prospect engagement.
- Ability to set clear objectives and motivate yourself and others to achieve outstanding results.
- Self-motivated, hands-on attitude with a sense of urgency towards generating a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Strong judgment and relationship building skills to facilitate productive meetings with business owners.
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication with excellent presentation skills.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach with desire to leverage technical experts and senior management to assist in closing opportunities.
- Ability to work under pressure while still meeting targets and deadlines.
