About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive International HR Business Partner to support growing operations across Europe and Asia. Acting as both a strategic advisor and hands-on HR leader, you will partner closely with business leaders to align people strategies with organisational goals while ensuring compliance with local employment legislation. This role supports employees and managers across the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, India, and Singapore. The successful candidate will have strong international HR experience, excellent business acumen, and the ability to balance day-to-day HR operations with long-term strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to international leadership teams, providing both strategic and operational HR guidance.
- Support workforce planning, organisational design, and change management initiatives.
- Advise on cross-border employment matters, including expatriate and international assignment management.
- Partner with leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support business objectives.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary issues, performance concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, regulations, and company policies across multiple countries.
- Oversee absence management, occupational health processes, and compliance audits.
- Mitigate employment-related risks through proactive guidance and best practices.
- Talent Management & Employee Lifecycle
- Lead and support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure consistent and compliant HR practices across all international locations.
- Partner with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
- Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Support compensation planning activities, including salary benchmarking and annual merit reviews.
- Collaborate with Finance and external providers to coordinate payroll processes and benefits administration.
- Ensure benefits programmes remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with market practices.
- Performance, Development & Engagement
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, and annual review cycles.
- Support leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- HR Operations & Analytics
- Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.
- Produce HR metrics, reports, and insights to support business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and employee experience.
About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or CIPD Level 5 + 7+ years of progressive HR experience within a multinational and/or European environment.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and leadership coaching.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business decisions.
- Strong knowledge of employment law across Europe and familiarity with key international markets, including Singapore and India.
- Experience working with HRIS and workforce analytics platforms; Workday and ADP experience preferred.
- Experience working within a U.S.-based organisation, ideally a public company and matrixed global environment, is highly desirable.
