We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Lead to join a growing organisation operating within the defence and advanced technology sector. This is a unique opportunity to play a strategic and operational-led role in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment supporting programmes that contribute to national security and defence capability. We are seeking an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can partner effectively with leadership teams to drive culture, performance, and organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Deliver on operational HR initiatives
  • Provide trusted HR guidance and support to managers and senior leaders
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture
  • Support and prepare for a TUPE project
  • Manage employee relations and support conflict resolution
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition activities
  • Support workforce planning and organisational development
  • Drive performance management and employee development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal standards
  • Maintain HR systems, reporting, and data integrity

What We’re Looking For:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Minimum 2 years’ HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience operating within a regulated or technical environment is advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and support managers on people-related matters
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
