Join our Outstanding Adult & Community department, graded Outstanding by Ofsted in May 2022 and February 2025. We are committed to providing high-quality education and support services to adult learners and the community.

We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Student Enrolment Manager to play a key role in managing staff and processes that deliver an efficient student enrolment and support funds service.

The Adult & Community department offers a range of courses designed for learners aged 19 and above. These include part-time vocational courses, Access to Higher Education programs, and leisure courses aimed at personal and professional development. The department operates across multiple campuses across Leeds.

What You Will Do

  1. Manage staff and processes for efficient student enrolment and support funds services, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
  2. Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site team to work collaboratively and provide exceptional service.
  3. Ensure swift, professional enrolment processes, enhancing the student experience.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the directorate and institution.
  5. Continuously improve the enrolment and support funds processes to align with institutional goals.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure team alignment with organisational standards.

About You

  1. Professional qualification at Level 3 or above, plus GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or above (or equivalent qualifications).
  2. IT literate, with strong working knowledge of digital systems and tools commonly used in administrative and educational settings.
  3. Experience in management roles within educational support settings, such as schools, academies, 6th Form Colleges, Multi Academy Trusts, FE Colleges, or Adult Learning environments.
  4. Proven ability to manage and develop small teams, coaching staff to adopt collaborative and student-centred working approaches.
  5. Skilled in working within a matrix management structure and using data reporting systems to manage and record student/customer information.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to relate effectively with others, both one-on-one and in teams, and communicate clearly in both verbal and written forms.
  7. Critical thinker with the ability to analyse complex issues, solve problems, and make quick decisions, alongside a strong focus on self-management, continuous learning, and driving achievement and innovation.
