Role Overview

  • Teach Film and Television and/or Journalism at Levels 2 and 3, delivering a curriculum that includes print and digital journalism, filming techniques and cinematography, sound production and design, video editing, media and audience theory.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in at least one of the following areas: print and digital journalism, filming techniques and cinematography, sound production and design, video editing, media and audience theory.
  • Experience teaching at Levels 2 and 3 or equivalent.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to work within a supportive departmental culture.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess lessons for students aged 16‑19 at Levels 2 and 3.
  • Develop and assess learning outcomes aligned to curriculum and assessment frameworks.
