Luminate Education Group is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team of five, reporting to the Deputy HR Director. Working within a hub model, you will partner with a diverse range of curriculum and non-curriculum teams across the organisation, building strong relationships and providing tailored HR support to meet their needs. Working closely with senior leaders and managers, you will provide trusted, focused HR advice, support organisational change and develop practical people solutions that help our teams and group to thrive. Hybrid working is available for this role, with the main base at Park Lane Campus, centrally located in Leeds and providing a vibrant and accessible environment.
What You Will Do
- Support the delivery of the Group People Strategy by providing trusted HR advice and partnering service for senior leaders and managers.
- Provide an effective HR Business Partner service, using workforce data and business information to identify needs and develop practical people solutions.
- Lead HR projects including organisational change, restructures, TUPE and group-wide transformation programmes, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Provide advice and support on complex employee relations matters, including Employment Tribunals, working with legal advisors where required.
- Coach and support managers in people management, workforce planning, talent and succession planning, helping to build strong and effective teams.
- Build positive relationships with trade unions and HR/OD colleagues, supporting a collaborative approach and contributing to the group’s aim of being an employer of choice.
About You
- Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 qualified, with a willingness to work towards Level 7 and a strong commitment to continued professional development.
- HR & Employment Relations: Strong knowledge of HR and OD best practice, employment law and employee relations, with experience managing complex cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance, redundancy, restructuring and TUPE.
- HR Business Partnering: Significant experience providing a customer-focused HR Business Partner service, working with leaders and managers to develop practical people solutions.
- Projects & Change: Experience planning and delivering HR projects, organisational change and transformation initiatives, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.
- Relationships & Communication: Skilled at building effective relationships with managers, colleagues and trade unions, using coaching, influencing and negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes.
- Analysis & Problem Solving: Able to analyse workforce information, manage complex issues, improve HR processes and deliver cost-effective solutions in line with organisational priorities and KPIs.
