The predicted salary is between 12400 - 13200 £ per year.
This is a Fixed Term contract for 15 months (duration of the apprenticeship). Apprenticeship pay rates for this post are dependent on age. Please see below for the applicable rates:
- Level 2 Apprenticeship Rates:
- Under 18 years - £14,874 per annum
- 18-20 years - £19,600 per annum
- 21+ years - £23,555 per annum
- Under 18 years - £15,144 per annum
- 18-20 years - £19,871 per annum
- 21+ years - £23,555 per annum
We are looking for a Finance Apprentice to join our finance team. You will work alongside colleagues to provide shared financial support services to each of the providers within the group whilst studying towards AAT Level 2 Certificate; progression to Level 3 upon successful completion. To do AAT Level 2 you will require Maths and English Grade 4/C or equivalent. To do AAT Level 3 you will require AAT Level 2 at Merit or Distinction grade and Maths and English 4/C.
Please note that we will be closed from 4pm on Friday 19 December and will re-open on Monday 5 January 2026. You are still welcome to apply for our roles during this period, and applications will be reviewed once we reopen in January 2026.
What You Will Do
- Provide a customer-focused, responsive, and quality financial service supporting the finance team in their day-to-day, month-end, and year-end duties.
- Maintain and contribute towards developing the financial control environment by ensuring financial best practice is embedded, fully operated at all times and documented, including implementation of updates to financial policies and regulations.
- To undertake studies towards the successful completion of the AAT Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
- Comply with Luminate Education Group Financial Regulations and Procedures and maintain a pro-active and diligent approach to fraud awareness.
