The Apprenticeship Team is a dedicated team within the college, focused on supporting both employers and apprentices throughout the apprenticeship journey. They provide expert advice, guidance, and training opportunities across various sectors to ensure the development of a highly skilled workforce.
Located in the heart of Leeds, the team's convenient location at College House makes it easily accessible to students and employers alike, with strong links to local businesses and industries.
What You Will Do
- Engage with a range of employers to identify their workforce development needs and offer tailored skills solutions and services to support their growth and success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both levy-paying employers and SMEs, helping to expand the organisation's employer partner network.
- Represent the organisation at external events, meetings, and networking opportunities to establish and strengthen partnerships and promote our services.
- Support prospective apprentices by preparing them for interviews, conducting Initial Assessments and Additional Learning Support (ALS) assessments, and delivering high-quality Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG).
- Manage the advertisement of apprenticeship vacancies and assist employers with the use and administration of the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) platform.
About You
Proven experience in Employer Engagement, Business Development, or Sales within the Further Education sector, with a strong track record of achieving performance targets.
