- Under 18 years - £16,012 per annum
- 18-20 years - £21,510 per annum

Are you passionate about technology and eager to help others build confidence in the digital world? Luminate Education Group is looking for a Digital Innovation Apprentice to join the Digital Innovation team. In this role, you will be the friendly, hands-on support for our staff as they explore educational technology and AI tools. Working alongside our Digital Innovation Specialist, you’ll bridge the gap between digital strategy and daily teaching practice, delivering quick-start guides, basic training, and one-to-one help to make technology easy and accessible for everyone.
What You Will Do
- Support Training Sessions: Co-deliver engaging workshops, webinars, and informal drop-in sessions on Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Canva, and AI apps like Gemini and CoPilot.
- Create Helpful Resources: Design simple "how-to" guides, quick video tutorials, and visual cheat sheets to make complex tools easy to understand.
- Deliver 1-to-1 Support: Provide patient, empathetic guidance to staff members with lower digital confidence, helping them save time in their daily routines.
- Build AI Resources: Help develop and maintain a group-wide digital innovation and AI resources to support staff with admin tasks and lesson planning.
- First-Line Troubleshooting: Act as a "jargon-buster" and technical help point to solve everyday software issues before escalating to core IT teams.
- Promote Accessibility & Safety: Ensure all learning resources are accessible to all users while promoting safe digital habits and data security.
About You
- A genuine passion for technology and its ability to transform everyday working and learning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas in simple, non-jargon language.
- Good proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Canva.
- An empathetic, patient, and approachable mindset with a positive "can-do" attitude to problem-solving.
- Level 2 qualifications including English and Maths, with a commitment to achieving a Level 3 Digital Support Technician apprenticeship.
- A basic understanding of data security, cybersecurity awareness, and GDPR in an educational environment.
