Overview
University Centre Leeds is recruiting for a Course Leader to join the Sports department. The ideal candidate will have experience primarily in Physical Education and Sports Coaching. We are looking for an experienced teacher to contribute to the management and delivery of our courses, including the planning and running of the Sport curriculum and the assessment and progress tracking of a cohort of students.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and running of the Sport curriculum, including assessment and progress tracking for a cohort of students.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum, working collaboratively with colleagues and maintaining links with industry to ensure content stays current and relevant.
- Support students with guidance around their next steps, preparing them for further study or careers in the sporting industries.
Location
Courses are delivered from Mabgate Campus where a variety of HE programmes are offered.

Our highly skilled team of specialist teachers and support staff develops students’ personal and employability skills to prepare them for their future life and work.
Qualifications
- Experience in Physical Education and Sports Coaching.
- Experience as a teacher with responsibility for curriculum planning, delivery and assessment.
