Leeds City College are recruiting for a Data Analyst in the Quality of Education team. In this role you will manage data from collection and preparation through to analysis and reporting. You will create and maintain dashboards, identify trends and provide clear insights to support decision-making, while ensuring data accuracy, governance and GDPR compliance. You will also support colleagues with data queries and deliver training to build confidence in using data systems. If you do not already hold a Level 4 or higher data qualification, you will complete a Level 4 Data Analysis Apprenticeship as part of the role.
What You Will Do
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
- Collect, cleanse and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor performance, risks and opportunities.
- Analyse and interpret data trends, providing clear insights and recommendations.
- Present findings to colleagues while maintaining confidentiality, GDPR and data standards.
- Provide support and guidance on Quality of Education systems and data, including routine administration and staff training.
- Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to a supportive, respectful and collaborative team.
About You
- Level 2 English and Maths and a relevant Level 3 qualification or above.
- Experience using IT systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Google applications and Management Information Systems such as ProSolution, ProAchieve, or OneFile.
- Experience analysing data to identify trends and make recommendations for performance or process improvement.
- Strong analytical, mathematical and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships, manage workloads, use initiative and provide solutions, with experience in training or education desirable.
