# Apprenticeship Assessor/Teacher - Carpentry and Joinery## About the RoleKeighley College are looking for a motivated and industry-experienced colleague to join our Apprenticeship Team as an Apprenticeship Assessor/Teacher of Joinery & Carpentry. This role is ideal for someone looking to move from industry into education. Full training and support can be provided to help you develop your teaching and assessing skills.In this role, you will support apprentices through their learning journey by delivering training, conducting workplace assessments, managing learner progress, and working closely with employers to ensure successful apprenticeship outcomes.**This is a full-time, permanent position. Depending on their start date, the successful candidate will either undertake a Level 3 Learning and Skills Assessor Apprenticeship or work towards a Level 3 Assessor qualification. This forms part of their professional development and will be completed alongside their role.**### What You Will Do* Deliver engaging training and assessment to apprentices both in the workplace and online/in college.* Coach and support learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours throughout their apprenticeship journey.* Build strong relationships with employers to ensure apprentices receive the support they need to succeed.* Carry out regular progress reviews, set targets and help learners stay on track to achieve their qualifications.* Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records using our apprenticeship systems.* Share your industry expertise and inspire the next generation entering your profession.* Contribute to a high-quality apprenticeship experience that delivers excellent outcomes for both learners and employers.### About YouWe're looking for someone with strong industry experience who is passionate about developing others and sharing their knowledge with the next generation of professionals.You may already have experience in training, assessing or mentoring, but if you're looking to take your first step into education, we'd love to hear from you.
