About the Role
Keighley College is looking for a Teacher of Plumbing to join the team! You will be responsible for shaping and delivering a curriculum that focuses on Plumbing within our Building Services department. The role combines academic leadership, industry relevance, and a focus on key knowledge, skills, and behaviours to equip learners with the necessary tools to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector. This position plays a crucial role in aligning education with the growing demand of the construction industry within the community of West Yorkshire. The role requires a dynamic individual with deep knowledge of joinery practices who can inspire both students and faculty to achieve excellence.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with the teaching team to maintain high-quality delivery and adapt teaching practices to meet the diverse needs of students while ensuring they acquire the skills required for the plumbing trade.
- Prepare students for the evolving expectations of the labour market in plumbing sectors.
- Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements and industry updates.
