About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (Plumbing) to join our Apprenticeship Services team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, consistency and compliance of assessment practices across our Plumbing apprenticeship provision, supporting assessors to deliver high standards and helping apprentices achieve successful outcomes. Working closely with curriculum and quality teams, you will drive continuous improvement and contribute to an outstanding apprentice and employer experience.
What You Will Do
- Lead Internal Quality Assurance activities across Plumbing apprenticeship provision to ensure assessment decisions are fair, consistent and compliant.
- Conduct sampling of learner work, assessment decisions and assessor practice in line with awarding organisation requirements.
- Support, coach and develop assessors through observations, feedback and standardisation activities.
- Maintain accurate quality assurance records and support preparation for external quality assurance visits and audits.
- Monitor learner progress, achievement and quality performance measures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum, quality and employer-facing teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver outstanding outcomes for apprentices and employers.
About You
You will be an experienced Plumbing professional with a recognised assessor qualification and a strong understanding of apprenticeship assessment and quality assurance. You will have experience of supporting consistent assessment practice, maintaining compliance with awarding organisation requirements and driving improvements in learner outcomes. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to build effective working relationships with colleagues, employers and apprentices. Most importantly, you will be passionate about quality, committed to continuous improvement and motivated to support outstanding apprenticeship provision.
