Job Responsibilities

Review monthly project budgets and expense claims to ensure accuracy, necessity, and compliance with internal policies.

Evaluate the reasonableness and legitimacy of each expenditure across different projects.

Cross-check claims against actual disbursements and monitor budget execution and variance.

Understand the nature of each project to assess the appropriateness of revenue and expense flows.

Assist in fraud prevention by identifying irregularities, duplicate claims, or suspicious transactions.

Prepare consolidated project finance reports and submit regular audit summaries to management.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; relevant UK qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA part-qualified) preferred.

Experience in financial auditing, budget control, or compliance, ideally within a project-based or international environment.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., Xero, Sage, SAP).

Excellent communication skills; able to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Right to work in the UK is required.

Salary and Benefits:

£24000 - £30000 per year gross (depending on experience)
