Luminance’s team of Application Engineers are responsible for designing and developing Luminance's suite of web-based applications, which apply Luminance’s core AI technology to different use cases in the legal sector. The team uses a modern technology stack, and team members can specialise in either UI, Backend or a mix of both!
This role is open to both graduates with a willingness to learn the desired skills, as well as more senior candidates with proven, prior experience in them. If you are excited about this role but your skill or experience doesn’t perfectly align with the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. Desired Skills- Experience in JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone.js, React or Vue.js
- Experience in server-side stacks using technology such as node.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch or Redis
- UI/UX design and implementation
- Python or Java knowledge is also useful
- Understanding of software development best practices and architecture, particularly of web-based, single-page applications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Top 200 Global University with a First or 2:1, preferably in a technical subject
