We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to own end-to-end recruitment across LUMINA and help shape how we attract and secure talent as we scale. Working closely with hiring managers, you will run live searches across our technical and commercial teams – from autonomy, AI, software and controls engineering through to mechanical, test and development, finance and operations.

The role demands someone equally comfortable delivering hands-on recruitment and improving the systems behind it, sourcing hard-to-find candidates, advising the business on hiring decisions, and bringing structure, data and consistency to a fast-growing talent function. This position is critical to building the team behind LUMINA’s machines: securing exceptional people quickly, protecting a high hiring bar, and giving every candidate an outstanding experience of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full hiring cycle - intake/kick-off meetings, role scoping, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers and onboarding handover.
  • Partner with hiring managers and founders to calibrate requirements, challenge the brief where needed, and deliver against tight timelines.
  • Proactively source passive, specialist candidates via LinkedIn, direct outreach, referrals and networks - often in niche autonomy, robotics and electrification fields.
  • Write clear, inclusive job descriptions and manage targeted advertising across the right channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines and pools.
  • Own candidate experience with clear, timely communication and feedback at every stage.
  • Manage multiple live roles across functions, seniorities and regions, prioritising effectively.
  • Brief and manage agency and search partners selectively, holding them to consistent, high-quality engagement.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and turn it into insight - time-to-hire, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness and offer-accept rates.
  • Use AI tooling to work smarter across sourcing, screening, JD writing and outreach, while keeping a human, quality-first touch.
  • Support process improvement, hiring governance and employer-brand activity as the function matures.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles and seniorities.
  • Strong proactive sourcing skills - engaging passive, hard-to-find candidates, not just managing inbound applications.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude (and similar) to support sourcing, screening, JD writing and outreach.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication – credible with technical hiring managers and founders alike.
  • Ability to work at pace amid shifting priorities, with the ownership and self-direction a start-up demands.
  • Well organised and detail-oriented, confident working with recruitment data and ATS/tracking tools.

Experience

  • 3+ years in talent acquisition, ideally having moved from an agency background into an in-house or RPO environment.
  • Recruiting within engineering, hardware, robotics, autonomy, AI or other deep-tech/high-growth environments.
  • Experience hiring across the USA, Europe or India is an added benefit – we recruit internationally and value multi-region exposure.
