LASER Energy have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to build strong relationships across the Welsh public sector and help customers on their energy and Net Zero journeys.

As LASER Energy’s key representative in Wales, the successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio, ensure great service and drive growth whilst your work directly supports customer success and the region’s wider decarbonisation goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Welsh public-sector accounts to meet revenue and retention targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders through regular engagement.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across LASER’s products and services.
- Proactively source, qualify and develop new public-sector business opportunities in Wales.
- Prepare business cases, proposals and support tender responses in line with procurement requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and fast issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans and pipeline information.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with service levels.
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of LASER’s energy and Net Zero portfolio and relevant market developments.
- Contribute market insight and competitive intelligence to business planning.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in B2B account management, business development or public-sector relationship management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with senior decision makers.
- Welsh language skills are essential.
- Knowledge of the UK energy market, energy procurement or Net Zero/renewable technologies.
- Self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to work independently across a regional area.
