Salary/package: £25,948 - £28,000pa DOE plus commission (£35,000 - £50,000 OTE)

Lumina Energy are looking for a confident and proactive individual to play a key role in supporting businesses to manage their energy needs and make informed, cost‑effective decisions. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships and delivering strong results with an interest in pursuing a career in sales or business development.

Who we are: Lumina Energy, part of Commercial Services Group (CSG), is a UK-based energy consultancy founded in 2012. The company specialises in helping businesses manage their energy needs by offering services like energy procurement, usage data management and carbon reduction planning. They are particularly focused on assisting companies in becoming more energy‑efficient, reducing costs and working towards sustainability goals.

This is a role where commercial judgement and relationship building are essential, with responsibility for generating new business, managing customer accounts and driving retention.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Generating new business through outbound calling, LinkedIn activity and customer referrals.
  • Managing a sales pipeline to ensure opportunities are progressed and followed up on time.
  • Preparing tailored quotations and proposals using CRM tools and supplier information.
  • Converting quotations into sales through effective questioning, listening and closing techniques.
  • Working with the Support Team to deliver bespoke proposals for larger customers.
  • Providing a high‑quality customer journey from first contact through to post sale processes.
  • Managing ongoing customer relationships, responding to queries and ensuring timely communication.
  • Conducting customer review meetings to support satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively managing renewals and identifying opportunities to upsell additional service.

What you’ll get in return:

  • Salary of £25,948 to £28,000 per annum DOE.
  • Commission structure with £35,000 to £52,000 OTE.
  • 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 after four years.
