We are in search of a resilient housing litigator to join our esteemed team of solicitors and paralegals. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with exceptional communication and client care skills. The ideal candidate must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A flexible approach to work and time management is essential.
Your role will involve:
- Handling a substantial caseload of housing litigation matters, including the defense of disrepair claims, possession, civil injunctions, EPA claims, ASB, and fraud.
- Dealing with landlord and tenant matters, AST, and/or leasehold matters, including forfeiture claims (desirable).
- Providing excellent client care within a private practice setting.
- Engaging in marketing and networking activities at both firm-wide and departmental levels.
- Maintaining a consistent track record of meeting monthly time recording and billing targets.
- Utilizing a case management system.
- Managing and supervising any support services, including secretarial and junior staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 0-5 years PQE with strong experience in a housing management legal department within a solicitors firm or in-house.
- Familiarity with a case management system.
