Job Title: Litigation Solicitor

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent

Our client, a leading law firm, is dedicated to providing expert, professional, and friendly litigation services. With a commitment to excellence, we aim to make a profitable contribution to our department and further the development of our business. Our current caseload is diverse, covering property & land disputes, landlord & tenant issues, debt recovery, contentious probate, employment law, and contractual and consumer disputes.
Main Responsibilities:
β Provide clients with accurate, appropriate, and up-to-date legal advice
β Establish and maintain excellent client relationships
β Undertake all related administrative tasks in accordance with company procedures
β Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
β Achieve billing and time recording targets
β Maintain financial control of own ledgers
β Deal swiftly with client complaints
β Participate in marketing and networking activities
β Ensure the confidentiality of firm and client documentation and information
β Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures
β Contribute positively to departmental and firm-wide activities
β Undertake relevant training as required
β Comply with the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct at all times
Key Requirements:
Qualifications:
β Qualified and eligible to practice as a solicitor in England
β 2+ years of post qualification experience in a similar field
β Experience of delivering excellent customer care in a legal environment
β Expert, up-to-date knowledge of litigation processes, procedures, and legislation
β Awareness of marketplace and current developments, opportunities, and threats
Skills and Abilities:
β Ability to quickly build strong, productive relationships with clients and colleagues
β Ability to work independently and under pressure
β Good problem-solving ability and time management skills
β Organised, methodical, and IT literate, including Microsoft Office Applications
β Ability to represent the firm professionally at networking and other events
β Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
β Conscientious with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
β Flexible attitude to work hours and requirements
