Our client is a highly regarded legal 500 firm, serving a wide range of commercial and private clients across London and the surrounding counties. Established in 1889, they've come a long way and today, are a modern, progressive firm in a state of continual growth.
They are seeking a motivated Associate Solicitor with good post-qualification experience in leasehold law, including enfranchisement, lease extension, right to manage, and right of first refusal. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of leasehold law to provide advisory services to landlords, tenants, and managing agents. Additionally, the role entails managing and supervising junior paralegals and trainee solicitors, along with building and nurturing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date legal advice to clients on matters including:
- Collective enfranchisement
- Lease extensions
- Tenants right of first refusal
- Right to manage
- Leases and service charges
- Breach advice
Qualifications:
- Qualified and eligible to practice as a solicitor in England or Legal Executive with at least 2 years PQE (guidance only)
Experience:
- Post-qualification experience in leasehold enfranchisement and lease extension
- Expert, up-to-date knowledge of leasehold law
- Demonstrated excellence in customer care within a legal environment
- Proven track record in business development
