We’re looking for an administrative professional to join our Milton Keynes based People Team as a People Services Assistant for a 6‑month period. This exciting role will be responsible for the delivery of timely and effective support to our colleagues and be the first point of call for all HR administrative related queries across the Group. The People Services Assistant will be pivotal in working collaboratively with the wider Central Functions team and Group wide Stakeholders to ensure our SLA’s and Payroll deadlines are met.

Key responsibilities of the People Services Assistant:
- Delivering exceptional administration support to your designated Business Units
- Ensuring all written documentation is accurate and formatted to a high standard
- Ensuring the completion of all Administration requests within agreed SLA’s
- Taking ownership of administrative based queries and seeing them through to resolution
- Making sure all transactions and documentation are quality checked in real time so that there is no impact to service to the business
- Ensuring appropriate levels of authorisation are obtained before any contractual changes are actioned
- Having a good understanding of the Right to Work process and in particular, UK Legislation
- Applying a good working knowledge of systems to answer queries and resolve problems from our colleagues
- Having a keen eye for detail, particularly in relation to inputting data, drafting contractual documents and quality checking your teammates work
- Being flexible in your approach in order to support other team members within the wider People Team where needed
- Proactively diarise engagement calls with your stakeholders in order to build relationships with the wider business
- Contributing to team meetings and bringing forward your own experiences, knowledge and skills
- Taking lead in your development and making the most of opportunities to upskill
Experience & skills required to be successful as a People Services Assistant:
- Previous experience of working in a fast‑paced environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
