Landlord Support - works with landlords to provide guidance and obtain the information needed to meet licensing requirements.

  • works with Landlords to gather supporting documents, and personal information to build, complete and submit licence applications.

We have a vacancy within our Investigation Team.

This role is focused on ensuring rental properties are fully compliant with licensing requirements before tenants move in.

It combines administration, investigation, and communication to support lettings branches and reduce delays after a tenancy begins.

Key responsibilities

  • Support local lettings branches by ensuring all licensing compliance requirements are completed before a tenancy goes live.
  • Investigate properties to determine whether they require a property licence.
  • Build strong working relationships with branch teams through regular phone calls, providing guidance, support, and sharing knowledge.
  • Conduct compliance checks and review documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Upload evidence and maintain accurate records within internal systems.
  • Carry out regular audits to ensure compliance documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Help reduce post-move-in administration by ensuring properties are compliant from the outset, allowing the wider licensing team to focus on licence applications rather than chasing missing evidence.

Essential skills and experience

  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with colleagues over the phone.
  • Ability to investigate information, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
  • Good IT skills and experience maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Training
  • Full training will be provided, including licensing regulations, compliance processes, and internal systems.
  • Support in training towards ARLA - NFOPP qualifications (a raise in basic salary once completed)
  • Salary of OTE £25,000 per annum
