We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Design Coordinator to join our team on a 6–12 month fixed‑term contract. Based at our offices in Aldgate, this position will support the delivery of design and technical drawing packages across a range of branch refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to assist in the production of floorplans, layouts, technical packs, and project documentation while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery across multiple live projects. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and completion of floorplans, layout drawings, and technical design packs.
- Support the production of project documentation including signage layouts, flooring plans, lighting plans, and other technical drawing information.
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver projects within agreed deadlines.
- Interpret project briefs and translate them into accurate layouts and plans.
- Update and revise drawing packs as projects progress and requirements change.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and to a high standard.
- Maintain organised project files and records.
- Support communication and coordination across departments and stakeholders.
- Assist with managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritising workload effectively.
- Ensure layouts and designs align with brand standards across the wider group.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a similar role involving space planning, floor planning, interior design support, or technical drawing production.
- Strong working knowledge and experience using Vectorworks is essential.
- Ability to design and amend floorplans based on project briefs and operational requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately interpret layouts and technical plans.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders.
