Ready to build something rather than simply maintain it?

LUMESCA Group is one of Europe’s leading distributors of specialist imaging, photography and creative technology brands. We work with some of the world’s most recognised manufacturers, helping them grow across the UK and Europe through distribution, e‑commerce, retail, education and reseller channels.

We’re looking for an exceptional Marketing Manager to lead and develop our in‑house marketing team. This isn’t a role where you’ll inherit a finished department. It’s an opportunity to shape how marketing operates, improve processes, develop people, embrace new technology and ensure our marketing function delivers real commercial value to the business.

If you enjoy building high‑performing teams, improving the way things are done and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role
  • You’ll lead a talented team currently comprising Graphic Designers, a Content Creator, a Digital Marketing Manager and a Digital Marketing Executive.
  • Working closely with the Commercial Director, you’ll become the driving force behind our marketing operation—bringing together sales, vendors and marketing to deliver campaigns that support business growth across multiple international brands.
  • This is a leadership role, but it’s also a hands‑on one. We want someone who enjoys getting involved, whether that’s launching a new product, supporting our e‑commerce team, planning an exhibition, reviewing vendor marketing plans or helping the team deliver an important campaign.
What you’ll be doing
  • Leading, coaching and developing our marketing team.
  • Creating efficient processes and improving the way the department operates.
  • Planning and delivering marketing campaigns that generate measurable commercial results.
  • Managing relationships with international vendors and marketing partners.
  • Coordinating product launches, exhibitions and promotional activities.
  • Working closely with our sales teams to ensure marketing supports revenue growth.
  • Overseeing digital marketing including email marketing, social media and content generation.
  • Managing the marketing budget and ensuring strong return on investment.
  • Introducing new technologies, automation and AI to improve productivity and marketing effectiveness.
About you
  • You’ll already have experience leading a marketing team and be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery.
  • You’ll be commercially minded, highly organised and able to inspire others whilst maintaining high standards yourself.
  • Most importantly, you’ll be excited by the opportunity to modernise and continually improve the way marketing operates.
  • We’re particularly interested in candidates who are already embracing AI and new technologies to improve marketing performance, automate routine tasks and enable teams to work more effectively.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience managing a marketing team.
  • Strong commercial awareness and focus on measurable results.
  • Hands‑on experience with digital marketing, including email marketing.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and external suppliers.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, technology and innovation.
  • Experience within technology, consumer electronics, photography or related sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact. You’ll join a growing international business where you’ll have the freedom to improve how marketing operates, influence the adoption of new technologies, develop a talented team and play a key role in supporting the future growth of the business.
