Project Overview

As part of the continued expansion of UK operations, Lumentum is seeking an experienced in-house recruiter to join their on-site recruitment team in Caswell. This role will be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for talent acquisition across a variety of niche roles.

Candidate Requirements

  • Extensive in-house recruitment experience with a focus on permanent hiring.
  • Proficiency in Workday is essential.
  • Strong sourcing and search skills—experience using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter is highly advantageous. A license will be provided.
  • A background in the semiconductor industry is preferred, though a strong engineering recruitment background is also suitable.
  • Ability to manage high-volume recruitment, handling multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and independent, with the ability to drive recruitment processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and assess candidates from various channels, ensuring alignment with the company’s business needs and culture.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial search and screening to presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key functional leaders and hiring managers to effectively address both immediate and future talent needs.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to create and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Advise and support hiring managers, providing market insights and guidance on recruitment strategies, candidate expectations, and skill availability.
  • Ensure a seamless recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the process.
