Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (SER Registered) with façade design and structural design experience, particularly on residential high-rise towers.
Façade Retrofitting Leadership: Design and deliver structural solutions for upgrading existing residential tower façades to current standards (fire, wind, thermal, water).
Structural Analysis: Perform rigorous analysis (finite element modelling, load/resistance calculations) of connections, anchors and envelope systems.
Project Coordination: Act as the Responsible Engineer, ensuring statutory compliance and all relevant design documentation are SER-signed, per regulatory requirements. Guide junior engineers and technicians through design tasks, participate in quality assurance and peer review processes.
Chartered with SER: Strong understanding of compliance implications. Proficient with engineering tools (FEM software, AutoCAD/Revit, structural analysis tools).
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of relevant building regulations (fire safety, thermal performance, wind action) and façade-specific compliance.
Project Delivery Mindset: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, commercial awareness, and effective time/project management.
