As part of CVS (UK) Ltd, the UK's largest provider of integrated veterinary services, we are one of eight referral hospitals operating across the UK and Ireland. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our dynamic referral nursing team as a Wards RVN. This is a part time role working 24 hours a week. This role incorporates inpatient care and emergency and critical care, seeing a variety of cases working alongside our specialists and wards RVN team.
Duties include:
- Participation in patient rounds.
- Nursing a range of patients from across all disciplines including ECC cases.
- Ensuring a high standard of nursing care and appropriate attention of the inpatients.
- Administering treatments and medications as directed by our specialist clinicians.
- Comprehensively communicating with all disciplines to ensure patient treatment plans are in place and correct.
You’ll work alongside a highly skilled team of RVNs, Patient Care Assistants (PCAs), and a Specialist-led referral team, all committed to delivering exceptional care. Many of our nurses hold postgraduate qualifications, and we actively support further professional development. To ensure a smooth transition, we offer a structured 8-week induction programme designed to help you settle in and thrive.
