Responsibilities / Position overview

Our market research Insights Team are seeking a Research Executive to join their quantitative research function.

This position further develops research skills, commercial acumen, and therapy area knowledge and experience. Responsibilities of this role include:

  • To provide proactive project support to ensure effective management and implementation of research projects
  • To own and perform specific project tasks, e.g. contact reports, progress tracking, timesheets, PO to ensure effective delivery
  • To provide effective administrative and logistical support to ensure timely delivery of tasks
  • To act as the day to day point of contact for research team and for client (where appropriate)
  • To be proactive and pre-empt project milestones
  • To conduct defined research activities to help build client satisfaction
  • To understand client needs and contribute to the design of innovative research activities
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to ensure a professional and effective outcome for clients
  • Show an understanding of project objectives within materials in order to produce good drafts of screeners, simple questionnaires, tab specs, code frames & sections of presentations
  • Check data tables accurately and conduct quant analysis where appropriate
  • To complete all administrative tasks in a timely and appropriate manner
  • To assist and provide support in building client relationships to help drive growth
  • To start to show an awareness and understanding of the commercial needs of the business
  • Be present at client meetings, where appropriate
  • To contribute proposals

Qualifications

  • Strong degree (2:1) in any subject and/or professional qualification
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in research or professional services organisation
  • 1 years’ experience in research-based project support role, healthcare experience is preferable
  • Enthusiasm and creativity
  • Self-starter, with sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Prioritisation, multi-tasking and organisation
  • Works as part of the team
  • Open to feedback and continual learning
  • Able to apply relevant research methods
  • Show evidence of strong ability to draft materials and sections of presentations
  • Demonstrate good data analysis & interpretive skills
