Responsibilities / Position overview

We’re hiring a Senior Consultant to join our consulting team, focused on Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and economic evaluation strategy.

This is a client-facing role for someone who blends strong technical expertise with confident project delivery and collaborative teamwork.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a blend of project/teamwork and technical expertise.
  • Possesses thorough and detailed knowledge of the main research methods used within Lumanity.
  • Possesses detailed knowledge of the different functions at Lumanity and can clearly identify how the different functions work together.
  • Interprets how the changing landscape at Lumanity will impact the way others work with the HEOR team.
  • Understands what organisational strategy of Lumanity is and can define how the HEOR team aligns to this and supports the achievement of this.
  • Has knowledge of new methodological and technical developments and how they might be used within the department.
  • Able to lead technical delivery workstreams on complex or non-standard projects and working towards strategic leadership on single-team projects
  • Acts as day-to-day point of contact for clients on projects.
  • Manages project team and tasks, including time and workload management to ensure that assigned tasks are delivered on time and to the agreed quality.
  • Actively participates in designing and delivering the solution.
  • Participates in business development activities, including potential project scoping, proposal and budget development.
  • Maintains accountability for achievement of specific revenue and utilization targets.
  • Demonstrates professional excellence in client-facing interactions.
  • Proactively stays apprised of industry trends and stays current in specialist area(s).
  • Supports thought leadership as requested.
  • Likely does not have direct reports but does coach and mentor.
  • Lead and deliver EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) workstreams (including evidence strategy, clinical comparators/endpoints selection, PICO alignment, and narrative/evidence synthesis) to support HTA submissions and broader HEOR market access strategy across EU markets.
  • Time Allocations

This role is anticipated to spend the following percentages of their work time on the key areas listed; this is subject to change and fluctuations according to business and client needs.

  • Ongoing Professional Development: 10%

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree required.
  • Typical years to attain experience for this role: 4-7+ years.

  • Evidence Review and/or Synthesis - HEOR Expert Elicitation / Stakeholder Engagement - Value Communication
  • Has extensive knowledge of new innovative and technical developments which could be utilised within the organization and across the HEOR functions.
