Responsibilities / Position Overview

The Director/Senior Director, Consulting role is responsible for engaging with our clients to provide strategic and scientific guidance, to design and develop solutions, and to lead teams to deliver high-impact engagements.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary owner of client engagements, ensuring client satisfaction and high-quality outputs.
  • Deliver on impactful financial targets by developing scientifically rigorous, profitable, and commercially relevant solutions.
  • Allocate time approximately as follows: 25-35% on client delivery, 30-40% on sales and relationship building, 15% on strategy development and leadership, and 10% on collaborative initiatives.
  • Seek new and repeat business with prospective and existing clients to ensure a continuous flow of engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique strategies and issues.
  • Collaborate with the HEOR sales team to develop proposals and advance new opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, applying critical thinking skills internally and externally.
  • Partner with colleagues across practices to address complex client needs and support company vision.
  • Provide market insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop capability communication materials to showcase solutions and offerings.
  • Deliver projects in compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities for business growth.
  • Attract and mentor high-caliber talent, supporting leadership development.
  • Contribute to strategic direction and participate actively in management discussions.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in life sciences and/or consulting industry.
  • Relevant scientific degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership in managing large projects and teams.
  • Deep expertise in HEOR solutions with a commercial and consultative mindset.
  • Ability to price and execute profitable client engagements.
