Responsibilities / Position Overview
Our Insights Team are seeking an AI Operations & Innovation Manager to join the business. This position involves leading the adoption of AI-powered solutions to ensure effective integration of AI tools and systems to deliver enhanced efficiency, quality gains and ultimately driving new business growth. The responsibilities include managing day-to-day AI-related activities, establishing best practices, identifying and delivering against training needs, providing expert advice and support to internal teams, providing expert input to help secure new business, and liaising with Central to ensure sharing of learnings across new tools, processes and initiatives.
Essential duties of the role include:
- Driving adoption of new AI-powered tools
- Upskill research teams to improve capability and confidence in using new AI platforms, e.g. AI analysis tools
- Working with both research teams and technology/tool providers to build, deploy and refine new processes and best practice
- Act as the first point of contact for Insight teams regarding issues/queries
- Regularly gather and analyse feedback on the technology, implementation and value realised, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders
- Driving Lumanity\'s In-House AI Tool
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the AI tool, serving as a conduit to Central development teams; more specifically in identifying and elevating common issues/challenges, as well as opportunities to build additional functionality/tools to drive new use cases for Insight teams.
- Innovations
- Explore new opportunities for AI within Insight to support efficiency, time, quality gains
- Work with teams to regularly listen, collate, support and elevate new ideas, suggestions and opportunities
- Work with colleagues to pilot potential new AI approaches, providing technical and practical support
- Support focused initiatives to drive AI-adoption across specific business areas/functions, including Qual, Quant, SMIA, Languages, Behavioural Science, Project Management
- Training
- Collaborate with L+D to ensure the availability of necessary training
- Identify, develop and deliver training support, alongside L+D, keeping resources appropriately updated across the range of AI-related topics areas, including analysis tools/process; platform/functionality
- Monitoring and reporting
- Monitor ongoing adoption across AI related initiatives and keep senior management abreast of progress – including successes, issues/challenges and any related recommendations
- Capture, analyse and document cost-savings, time-savings, and success in winning additional business
- Business Development Support
- Support proposals with an AI element, including reviewing briefs, brainstorming/advising, generating proposal content, costings, attending client calls
- Provide support and advice in early business development discussions – e.g. generating collateral for credentials meetings, attending client meetings
- Participate in pitching and early client conversations as the \'AI expert\'
- Project delivery
- Providing support and consulting on live client projects that utilise newer AI tooling/methods to ensure teams have sufficient support, training and coaching on best practices
- Providing expert input, including client facing role where expert view and implementation support is required
- Lead day-to-day project management and support for standalone and discrete AI/tech focused projects, including project delivery, client management, leading and coordinating internal teams
Qualifications
- Strong Degree (2:1) in any subject and/or professional qualification
- 4-7 years’ experience in research or a professional services organization
- 4 years’ experience in research-based project support role
- 2-3 years healthcare sector experience is preferable
- General technical ability and broad knowledge of AI and research methods
- Proven results in project management
- Computer proficient – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
