Luma Education Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist secondary SEMH school seeking a passionate and resilient Maths Teacher to join their permanent teaching team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to helping young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs achieve positive educational outcomes.
You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in small classes, building strong relationships and creating an engaging learning environment where every pupil can succeed. Whether you already have experience in an SEMH, Alternative Provision or PRU setting, or you are an experienced secondary Maths teacher looking to move into specialist education, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons for students with SEMH needs.
- Adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP targets and a range of learning abilities.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage engagement, confidence and academic progress.
- Promote emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour.
