About the Role

You will teach a small class of primary-aged pupils with a range of additional learning needs, delivering engaging and personalised lessons that enable every child to achieve their potential. Working alongside experienced Teaching Assistants and a multidisciplinary team, you will support pupils' academic, social and emotional development within a nurturing and structured environment. This is a highly rewarding role where you'll have the time to focus on teaching, build positive relationships and celebrate every achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP outcomes.
  • Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and assessments.
  • Encourage confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Primary Teachers (QTS).
  • Experienced SEND Teachers.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
  • Mainstream primary teachers looking to transition into specialist education.
  • Teachers with experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Previous experience within a specialist SEND school is desirable but not essential.
