With classes of approximately six pupils, you'll have the time and support to deliver highly personalised teaching that makes a genuine difference. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment where every child can succeed
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development through personalised learning
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual EHCP targets

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools or specialist SEN settings
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
