This role supports pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, helping them to engage, progress, and thrive in a positive and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Implement behaviour support strategies (PRICE / TeamTeach desirable)
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Build positive relationships and act as a consistent, trusted adult
- Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with children or young people (school or youth setting)
- Confident supporting pupils with additional needs, including behavioural needs
- Positive, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
