This role supports pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, helping them to engage, progress, and thrive in a positive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
  • Implement behaviour support strategies (PRICE / TeamTeach desirable)
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Build positive relationships and act as a consistent, trusted adult
  • Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young people (school or youth setting)
  • Confident supporting pupils with additional needs, including behavioural needs
  • Positive, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
