Luma Education Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to support and guide pupils of all abilities, including SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, helping them thrive every day in a positive, engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Implement behaviour strategies (PRICE / TeamTeach experience desirable)
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment

Requirements

  • Flexible and adaptable to different classroom environments
  • Positive, encouraging attitude to help children reach their potential
  • School or youth work experience
  • Confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs
  • Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required prior to starting
