About This Team
The EMEA L&L Team enable the delivery of training, development, and onboarding programs for our Retail Stores, SSC, GEC and Franchise teams. This role will focus on servicing our Franchise Partners and regions. Key responsibilities of the learning team are:
- Enable learning delivery through the most effective & consumable means and using the right method/channel, for the right audience, at the right time.
- The Senior Learning & Leadership Partner of Franchise ensures curriculum is localized, integrated, and up-to-date to best support our markets.
- The Learning Partner utilizes innovative delivery techniques and modalities to maximize skill acquisition and knowledge retention to measure and monitor training effectiveness.
A Day in the Life
- Conduct discovery sessions with various internal and external partners to co-design regional guest experience strategy, upholding lululemon's guest experience north star.
- Conduct learning needs analysis with internal Franchise regional managers and key stakeholders across franchise businesses to understand the state of the business, its goals, and priorities.
- Identify skill/knowledge gaps, and the performance enhancements needed to make informed, data-driven decisions about building learning opportunities.
- Coach and consult at all levels of the business, including internal and external partners.
- Ensure Franchise learning curriculum is localized, integrated, and up-to-date and utilizes innovative delivery techniques and modalities to maximize skill acquisition and knowledge retention.
- Identify the maturity of the market and make the most appropriate decisions to enable the delivery of training, development, and onboarding programs.
- Consult on and manage the delivery of functional learning and ongoing development through the most effective method/channel.
- Design and facilitate a wide range of conversations and events that require the support of an expert facilitator.
- Design and develop the correct learning solutions and advise the business on addressing additional performance indicators and enhancements needed outside of skill and knowledge.
- Partner with EMEA L&L team in developing learning evaluation strategies, measuring, and monitoring training effectiveness, and overseeing and collecting findings to inform additional design evolutions.
- Design, develop and Facilitate Instructor-Led Training (ILT) sessions to large audience, both in-person and virtual, including calls, development workshops, and offsites.
- Project management of learning + leadership projects, including developing the plan, timeline, and budget.
- Evaluate the success of training programs through various methods, including observation in market, surveys, interviews, and feedback.
Qualifications
- Retail experience is required; Store Manager experience is preferred.
- A passion for guiding and supporting our collective in discovering, developing, and activating their unique potential for the world.
- 3+ years' experience in adult learning facilitation in functional training, leadership development + career development.
- Proficiency in priority/project management, presenting ideas and concepts, and ability to quickly develop trust.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines if needed on project.
- Cross-functional and collaboration skills.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Strengths in organization, and influence; solutions-oriented problem-solving.
- Certification in Coaching preferred.
- Experience and or a keen interest to learn and engage in mindfulness as well as diversity, equity and inclusion as tools for conscious leadership.
