role summary
The Senior EU Ecommerce Specialist plays a key role in accelerating ecommerce growth across European markets (exc UK and DE). This role is responsible for implementing localisation strategies, optimising trade performance and partnering with our third-party cross-border shipping provider to deliver best-in-class, locally relevant site experience that supports brand objectives and commercial targets.
a day in the life: what you'll do
- Develop and implement market-specific localisation strategies, ensuring site experience, on-site journeys and content resonates with local guests.
- Support the Ecommerce Manager in building and implementing the trading calendar, ensuring market-relevant moments and campaigns are aligned to commercial goals.
- Produce weekly and monthly trading reports, analysing market performance and providing actionable insights to drive growth.
- Regularly review the competitive landscape and market trends, sharing insights that inform future opportunities.
- Partner with our third-party cross-border shipping provider to improve the checkout experience and remove friction across markets.
- Contribute to the development of test-and-learn frameworks to improve site performance, engagement, and conversion across localised markets.
- Help define and embed new processes, standards, and ways of working for a newly built ecommerce localisation function.
qualifications, skills & experience
- 4+ years experience in ecommerce, working with multiple markets across Europe.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and GA4 preferred but not essential.
- Strong analytical approach with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and levers to improve performance.
- Highly collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.
- Proactive, solution-oriented problem solver with exceptional attention to detail.
