The Global Corporate Affairs & Communications team at lululemon is responsible for creating and executing dynamic communications strategies that engage and connect stakeholders, internally and externally.

With a vision to inspire people around the world, the team create storytelling and experiences that celebrate culture and fuel business success.

The Corporate Communications Manager, EMEA, will deliver external communication and storytelling to enhance and protect lululemon's corporate reputation, while building awareness and understanding of the company's purpose, strategy, and performance.

The position reports to the Corporate Affairs & Communications Director, EMEA, and will own corporate communications departmental objectives, developed in partnership with global and regional stakeholders.

  • Deliver against the EMEA corporate narrative and identify owned and earned initiatives to story-tell strategy, culture, impact, and performance.
  • Build trusting relationships with business and industry media across the region, especially UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy, acting as one of the team's key press relations contacts.
  • Amplify executive communications via media and thought-leadership opportunities for SVP, EMEA and the leadership team.
  • Support Director on issue and crisis management across the region, enhancing crisis preparedness and effectively mitigating areas of risk.
  • Manage lululemon's corporate agency.
  • Provide counsel and best practice communications advice internally, to all levels.
  • Develop and manage strategic materials, budgets, and reporting tools.
  • Work closely with regional internal communications and PR team as well as with the wider global corporate affairs and communications function.

qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications across agency and/or consumer brands; experience working in a global organisation preferred.
  • Possess existing press relationships and a strong understanding of the media/digital landscape across EMEA, in particular UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
  • Outstanding written, presentation and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience of handling issues and crises in fast-changing and global environments.
  • Passion for finding and creating stories from across the business by building relationships around the region and globally, understanding how to translate business strategy into media-friendly stories.
  • Ability to articulate and co-create strategies with a wide range of people, including senior leaders, agency partners, and employees at all levels of experience.
  • Details-oriented and used to thriving in a fast-pace, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to anticipate potential reputational issues, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion.
  • Fluent English speaker.

The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
