About This Team

The EMEA product team translates global product strategies into regionally relevant execution, ensuring the right assortment is in the right place at the right time. The team focuses on fulfilling guests’ unmet needs, growing the brand, and delivering on long-term enterprise goals. Teamwork, clear communication, and cross‑functional collaboration with merchandising, store operations and DC network planning are essential. Responsibilities

  • Forecast sales targets, markdowns, gross margin, and open‑to‑buy management for the category.
  • Make recommendations for key financial meetings/decisions to maximize sales, margin and inventory productivity.
  • Develop monthly plan review process: sales, markdown, receipt and inventory re‑forecasts.
  • Collaborate with North America planning team to capitalize on inventory opportunities through transfers or pullbacks.
  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities and recommend strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Execute detailed analysis to drive category performance.
  • Develop sales projections and inventory flow for key items.
  • Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom‑line profitability.
  • Prepare and participate in Merchandise Review meetings.
  • Support merchandising in actively managing product assortment throughout the season (inventory, MDs, etc.).
  • Partner with Merchants on pre‑season plans (sales, markdown, margin, receipt, inventory).
  • Analyze and reflect current trends in performance of strategy based on actual sales data; revise in‑season plans for sales and profitability; control inventory levels.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to maximize sales potential beyond everyday business.
  • Provide additional analysis related to driving business goals (e.g., hindsight analysis).

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years proven planning/merchandising experience within a vertical retailer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret multiple data points across channels and market segments.
  • Deep understanding of season‑to‑season business performance and ability to drive business based on key financial indicators.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, thorough and able to prioritize.
