The EMEA Digital Marketing Team exists to define and execute the digital strategy for customer acquisition and retention. Our goal is to drive omni-channel sales for our European business and grow our community. We utilise a range of acquisition channels including Search, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing, Paid Media and Email to deliver elevated digital experiences, drive purchase and engage beyond transactions. We're continually diversifying and optimising our digital marketing channel mix and target markets to reach new guests, increase brand awareness and drive efficient business growth.

A day in the life: what you’ll do

  • The Paid Search Lead supports the planning, execution, and optimisation of EMEA Paid Search activity across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Combining strategic planning with hands‐on execution, the role manages campaign setup, keyword research, ad copy coordination, bid strategy, and ongoing performance monitoring to drive traffic and revenue in line with media plans.
  • Lead the end‐to‐end setup, management, and optimisation of EMEA Paid Search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, defining campaign structures, targeting frameworks, and bid strategies to meet performance goals. This includes Search as well as Shopping campaign formats.
  • Manage budget allocation and campaign performance, making data‐led decisions on scaling, pausing, or restructuring activity across markets, products, and audiences to maximise efficiency and revenue.
  • Ensuring effective bid strategy execution, pacing, and performance delivery aligned with media plans.
  • Conduct in‐depth keyword research, audience analysis, and competitor reviews to inform media planning and campaign structure.
  • Analyse performance data to identify optimisation opportunities and lead a prioritised, structured testing roadmap including A/B tests and experimentation initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Produce weekly performance reporting and support PCAs and quarterly reviews, highlighting insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, conversion setup, and feed integrity, partnering with the Paid Search Manager.
  • Support in providing guidance, feedback, and support to the Paid Search Specialist, contributing to their development and upskilling.
  • Monitor platform updates, beta features, and industry shifts, translating these into testing or innovation opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Paid Search or Performance Marketing roles.
  • Hands‐on experience activating and managing Paid Search campaigns ideally within a Retail context across multiple European markets.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, SA360, Google Merchant Centre and Google Analytics.
  • Strong expertise utilising Excel, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or other analytics/reporting tools.
  • Understanding of attribution models, feed‐based search, and bid strategies.

Must haves

  • Proven experience managing Paid Search campaigns at scale across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, familiarity with different campaign types including Search and Shopping formats.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action.
  • Demonstrated experience with keyword research, campaign setup, bidding strategy, and optimisation techniques.
  • Confidence managing budgets, pacing performance, and ensuring delivery against KPIs.
  • Familiarity with tracking, conversion setup, and maintaining feed health.
  • Experience creating performance reports and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and operate in a fast‐paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to support junior team members.
