Within the Digital organisation, the Ecommerce Catalogue team is responsible for managing and optimising our online product availability, inventory, and product classification across our European websites. The Manager, Ecommerce Catalogue leads a team of specialists and coordinators to ensure optimal product coverage, with conversion rate and sell-through in mind. This role involves leading operational aspects of weekly full price product drops, seasonal sale executions, and collaborating with other Ecommerce functional managers in creating annual and quarterly channel strategies.
A day in the life: what you’ll do
- Manage Ecommerce Catalogue Snr. Specialist, Specialist, and Coordinator, setting functional priorities and developing team members.
- Develop functional strategies to achieve departmental goals, managing several complex projects requiring partnership with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Provide updates on project status to relevant leadership sponsors and report on performance.
- Refer to MPA plans during Ecommerce activity planning cycle to support sell-through of product inventory and brand campaign execution.
- Manage ecommerce inventory holding across multiple locations, ensuring optimal coverage for sales plans.
- Produce weekly reporting for stakeholders on performance of newly released products and identify opportunities for stock transfers.
- Act as key stakeholder for Centre of Excellence, INTL Product Discovery, and EMEA MPA teams, participating in global projects to improve product data and processes.
- Identify technology priorities within the Catalogue function and create business cases to support prioritisation.
- Work with Snr. Manager, Omnichannel to ensure optimal performance of SFS programme.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- 7+ years' experience in e-commerce or related fields (buying/merchandising/operations).
- Strong analytical approach to identify and understand trends based on data and insight.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and merchandising/planning ecosystems, such as Anaplan and Salesforce Business Manager.
- Able to adapt wider department strategy into functional yearly view and remain accountable for delivery.
- Understanding of the wider ecommerce landscape.
