The Franchise team sits under the Alternate Channels department in EMEA, expanding our business beyond our vertical channels. The Franchise Regional Manager will play a key role in driving the international franchise business in the assigned markets across a specific region; Middle East, Rest of Europe, India, Southeast Asia or South America. They will be accountable for ensuring delivery of our brand, including standards and operational excellence through training and monitoring market performance.
A day in the life: what you’ll do
- First point of contact for all internal departments for respective market(s)
- Conduct effective in-market visits throughout assigned market(s) with key contacts in region
- Own franchise account feedback regarding support needs and service quality
- Gives perspective on market and real estate opportunities
- Executes business plan, supporting partner and internal departments across NSOs
- Monitor key store financial metrics for region to evaluate and report on store performance against objectives
- Ensures partners operate lululemon store principles, and lululemon culture and core values are followed
- Monitors brand integrity across store guest experience, marketing channels, RBE, and digital channels, ensuring brand standards are being upheld
- Creates strong relationships with franchise partners to ensure that products, programs and solutions align with the needs of the assigned market(s)
- Local knowledge expert, representing the market internally across all functions
Qualifications, skills & experience
- 8+ years of experience in retail leadership role
- Proven experience in commercial partnerships, with franchise experience preferred
- Direct retail experience in India (or equivalent India-market leadership exposure)
- Proven ability to influence a cross-functional team towards achieving a common goal
- Demonstrated success leading transformational change in new or growing business models
- Sound understanding of apparel markets across multiple regions
- Written, presentation and verbal communication skills
