The Visual Merchandising and Retail Brand Experience team brings lululemon's brand and product stories to life across physical retail. Working at the intersection of brand, product, store design, and retail execution, the team ensures every store delivers a consistent, premium, and locally relevant guest experience.
This role leads Visual Merchandising and Retail Brand Experience across EMEA and global franchise markets, supporting and developing the team and driving an elevated level of brand and product storytelling across the fleet of 100+ stores. They lead planning strategy, VM, styling, windows, inâstore marketing, and store opening execution, shaping how lululemon shows up in both companyâowned and partnerâoperated stores. The Director plays a critical role in scaling brand excellence, enabling local teams and franchise partners, and evolving the retail experience as the business grows.
Core Responsibilities:
- Create and implement retail brand and product storytelling vision, strategy, and initiatives across EMEA and global franchise.
- Ensure a worldâclass, inclusive guest experience across all retail locations, aligned with lululemon's brand values.
- Align Retail Brand Experience strategies with Brand, Product Merchandising, and Channel calendars.
- Partner with Store Design to define guest journeys, layouts, zoning, and experiential moments for new store openings and revitalisations.
- Oversee the development and execution of windows, signage, visual merchandising, styling, and seasonal and 365 product storytelling strategies.
- Provide seniorâlevel direction, coaching, and feedback to franchise partners to ensure highâquality, onâbrand execution adapted to local markets.
- Develop and leverage market insights and trends to inform and influence regional and global strategies.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a highâperforming team of retail storytellers, driving excellence in creative execution and commercial impact.
- Operate as a key crossâfunctional partner across Brand, Merchandising, Store Design, Marketing, and Retail Operations.
- Drive regional Brand Marketing functional strategy as part of the Brand Marketing Leadership Team for EMEA and Global Franchise.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years' experience leading visual merchandising, retail brand experience, or retail marketing within a consumerâfocused global brand.
- Proven regional retail leadership experience, with EMEA exposure required.
- Demonstrated success working across multiâmarket and multicultural retail environments.
- Strong people leadership experience, building and developing highâperforming regional or global teams.
- Proven ability to work effectively with and influence crossâfunctional partners at a senior level.
Must Haves:
- Deep understanding of retail storytelling, guest experience, and visual execution at scale, with apparel experience essential and luxury/ athletic preferred.
- Strong commercial mindset - able to link creative direction to business outcomes.
- Experience influencing franchise or partnerâled retail models.
- Ability to create environments where different perspectives, cultures, and voices are valued and reflected in retail execution.
- Confident, credible senior presence with the ability to inspire and align diverse stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fastâpaced, highâgrowth, entrepreneurial environment.

Inâperson collaboration and connection are important to our culture. Work is performed onsite at our London office, 4 days per week.
