About this team

The Sports Marketing team at lululemon is responsible for building authentic, long-term relationships with best-in-class athletes, trainers, & yogis and offering a win-win partnership that brings to life shared values and purpose. The Senior Manager, Sports Marketing, EMEA, leads the regional Sports Marketing team, overseeing the entire Ambassador ecosystem in EMEA, to drive awareness and familiarity of lululemon. This is a permanent position reporting into the Director, Community, Sports Marketing & Events, EMEA.

Core responsibilities

  • Lead the regional Sports Marketing team to innovate, strategise & identify a best-in-class Ambassador bench in EMEA that grows brand awareness, familiarity and equity.
  • Ensure excellent working relationships with Ambassadors including negotiating, monitoring and off-boarding contracts and driving optimum output for all parties.
  • Work cross-functionally with regional colleagues to elevate, amplify & leverage Ambassadors to drive business growth. Develop optimum internal processes to support.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the global Sports Marketing team, ensuring strategic consistency in region and collaboration on visiting global Ambassadors.
  • Set and uphold standards for the recruitment of Store Ambassadors.
  • Support franchise partners to live into the key principles of the lululemon Ambassador programme.
  • Oversee the Community Initiatives fund programme.
  • Manage annual strategies, reporting and budgets.
  • Lead and develop a high performing team (3+) across geographies. Create a culture of equity and belonging for all.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years’ experience in Sports Marketing.
  • A passion for sport and fitness including a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Contract negotiation expertise.
  • Team management experience.
  • Written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
