Type: Full-time

Reports to: Laura Jayne (Founder & Remote CEO)

About The Role

We’re hiring a Social Media Coordinator & Editor to own and scale the personal brand of Laura Jayne - founder, remote CEO, and serial entrepreneur across e-commerce, beauty, and lifestyle. This role is not about posting aesthetic content. It’s about storytelling, education, and consistency - turning real founder life into high-performing, relatable, aspirational content that builds community, trust, and drives ROI for the wider LullaBellz ecosystem and future business ventures. You will be fully focused on Laura’s personal socials, acting as her creative extension: capturing her voice, shaping long-term narratives, editing content, and ensuring consistent, strategic output across platforms.

Platforms You’ll Manage:

  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • YouTube Shorts / Reels-style video (secondary)
  • LinkedIn (light-touch, founder POV posts)

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Coordination & Planning: Plan and manage weekly content output across platforms, organise raw content (B-roll, talking clips, lifestyle, travel, BTS), build and maintain structured content folders and naming systems, work closely with the in-house marketing team to align founder narrative with brand priorities, manage content pipelines and deadlines via ClickUp.
  • Video Editing & Production: Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), add captions, hooks, text overlays, and relevant trending audio, write scripts in line with Laura’s tone of voice, repurpose diary-style or long-form content into multiple high-performing clips to align with channels, maintain a clean, premium, aspirational editing style (not over-edited).
  • Storytelling & Caption Writing: Write captions in Laura’s tone of voice (founder-led, relatable, confident, aspirational), turn everyday moments into engaging, strategic narratives, lead storytelling around building businesses remotely, behind-the-scenes of e-commerce & Airbnb, travel, lifestyle, discipline, and routines, lessons, reflections, and real-time founder thoughts, the 18-month “making of” journey for the upcoming haircare range.
  • Founder Ads & Commercial Content: Support creation of founder-led ad content for paid social, edit organic founder content into ad-ready formats, understand what performs organically and how it translates to ads, work closely with marketing team to align founder ads with campaigns.
  • Posting, Scheduling & Performance: Schedule content calendars with weekly sign-off, support with story prompts including monetising through Manychat links, track content performance and iterate output based on data.
  • Community & Growth Support: Engagement support (comments, DMs and coordinating), flag trends, collaboration opportunities, and viral moments, drive growth through consistency and quality of content.

Remote-first & Flexible Working Style

This role lives in the Founder's world, not HQ (remote first). Content happens at home, while travelling, in real moments, and on the move. We operate remote-first, with ClickUp as the core control mechanism, clear content pipelines, weekly output expectations, deadlines and dashboards, and weekly check-ins. Regular office attendance is never mandatory although there is a requirement to be in our Manchester office once every quarter. Optional in-office collaboration days (Manchester) may happen when useful for big shoots, campaign alignment, strategy or planning sessions.

What We’re Looking For

  • You MUST be fluent in social-first storytelling.
  • Passionate about social media with a deep understanding of key platforms and their audiences, including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Be confident editing short-form video (Reels / TikTok).
  • Have excellent copywriting skills and be detail-oriented, with immaculate grammar and spelling.
  • Understand hooks, pacing, captions, and audience psychology.
  • Have experience managing a personal brand or founder-led account.

Additional Qualities

  • Be highly organised, proactive, and self-directed.
  • Be comfortable working remotely and independently.
  • Be commercially aware – this role must generate ROI.
  • Be prepared to travel both in the UK and internationally.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

Bonus (not essential)

  • Interest in business, beauty, lifestyle, or entrepreneurship.
  • Experience working with founders, coaches, or creators.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram & TikTok trends.
  • Light experience with YouTube or LinkedIn content.

Tools You’ll Likely Use

  • CapCut / Premiere Pro / Final Cut.
  • ClickUp (content pipelines, deadlines, dashboards).
  • Notion or Google Drive.
  • Microsoft Teams (non-urgent communication).
  • WhatsApp (urgent communication).

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent, high-quality content every week.
  • Clear, recognisable founder voice across platforms.
  • Audience growth and strong engagement.
  • Founder content contributing to brand growth and paid performance.
  • Long-term storytelling roadmap actively being built.
  • Founder feels supported, not overwhelmed.
  • Content system runs without micromanagement.

WHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL

This is an opportunity to help build a founder brand with real commercial upside – business courses, partnerships, advertising, and future brands. You won’t just be editing content. You’ll be helping shape the next wave of founder storytelling, brand growth, and monetisation. Storytelling the brand through its next growth era.

The role requires 37.5 hours per week. We have a salary range of ÂŁ24,500-ÂŁ26,500 per annum in mind, though we are open to discussion based on skills and experience.
