As a catering assistant in a school, you will be required to work 5 days a week, 4 hours a day during lunch times. We are currently recruiting for a catering assistant to work in a school in Liverpool 12. This role does require someone who has worked in a fast-paced kitchen environment previously and can evidence previous catering work with references.
As an experienced catering assistant in a school, you will be interacting with the children, serving food, replenishing utensils and food, date rotation, clearing tables and dish wash duties.
The role is both rewarding but hard work – no 2 days are the same. You will be used to working in a small team working alongside the chef and be well versed in being able to multiskilled during the time on shift.
Requirements include:
- At least 12 months Catering background in Busy Catering facility
- Enjoys the fast-paced catering offers
- Level 2 food Hygiene
- Has an in-date DBS
The role is based in a school, with hours usually between 9.30am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday. This role is ongoing through term times, with opportunities to pick up other work should you want to work extra hours.
