Shift Available: Sunday - Thursday Nights 22:00-06:00

Total Salary: £29,660 per annum, paid on a monthly basis.

We're currently seeking an Inventory Control Clerk at our Portbury, Bristol facility. We are currently implementing a new WMS. The successful candidate must have previous experience of Warehouse Inventory Control and experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Keep goods in/out inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records up to date using our WMS.
  • Look into damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
  • If you need to pop into the Coldstore, we will provide you with full PPE so you stay warm.
  • This is an office based role.
  • Find products to ensure correct product ID, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories.
  • Look at stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorised substitutes, and other listed information with catalogues, manuals, product lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of shipping order.
  • Review files to find unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
  • Help with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook and sometimes telephone.

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience of stock control.
  • Previous experience of warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Connect & AS400 system is desirable.
  • A willingness to learn is a must as these systems can be taught.
  • Computer literate, i.e., a confident user of all Microsoft packages & Outlook.
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills.
  • Confident communicator both face to face and over the telephone.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to drive to site in your own vehicle.
